Builders
November 23, 2009
Dear John Wick Homes Builder,
Today, Wick Building Systems voluntarily filed to reorganize under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
After a catastrophic decline in the housing market, the Company recently made the hard decision to close our housing divisions. Now, the Company has determined that the Chapter 11 process provides the most orderly means to liquidate some of its assets, restructure its obligations and facilitate a continuation of Wick Buildings through a possible sale to a new ownership group or reorganization of the company.
We will work with the court to attempt an orderly completion of all work which is currently in progress.
Unfortunately, other than as approved by the Court, federal law prohibits payment by us for goods and services provided prior to the November 23, 2009, filing date without specific Court authorization. These obligations will be addressed as part of the reorganization process in a plan that will be filed in the company's Chapter 11 cases.
While this is uncharted territory for all of us, be assured that we will do our best to keep you fully informed of developments relating to our reorganization progress. For additional information, please visit us at www.Wickrestructures.com.
Sincerely,
Jeff Wick
